  For your information – This road closure will take place over the course of 2 Sundays from 4pm to 11pm between the dates 18/07 – 11/08 

Proposed Temporary Road Closure – Bedford St, Ampthill

I have a request for a Temporary Road Closure at the above location to enable Carriageway Resurfacing to take place safely.  Details are listed in the schedule below and having assessed the application I am satisfied the request is justified.

The restrictions are to be in operation only when the necessary signs are erected on site. The Legal Order will be made to cover an 18month period.  Access may be allowed from time to time according to local signing.

Date: The closure will take place on two Sundays between the 18th July and the 7th August 2021 this closure will be between the hours of 4pm-11pm only

Diversion Route:       Head north-west on B530 towards Hazelwood Ln

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Ampthill Rd/B530

At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Ampthill Rd/Bedford Rd/B530

Continue to follow B530

At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Ampthill Rd/B530

Turn right

At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A6

At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on A6

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay on A6

At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on A6

At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A507

At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on A507

At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Flitwick Rd

At the roundabout, continue straight onto Dunstable St

Go through 1 roundabout

At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Woburn St/B530

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Bedford St/B530
